The year is 1974, and you have three beautiful Itallian super GTs to choose from.
DD, Track & Burn. Go!
The Lamborghini Jarama GTS, 365BHP 3.9 V12.
The Alfa Romeo Montreal, 227BHP 2.6 V8.
The Iso Grifo, 395BHP 7.4 V8.
The Lambo has the most cylinders, the Alfa has the highest BHP/Litre ratio and the Iso has the most power. All of them look brilliant, you choose.

Track: Iso Grifo, because big-ass American V8 powa

Not quite a Mopar, it's actually a Chevy Block.

Buying dozens of old BMWs/Jags would actually be the reliable option for once.

Buy comfy shoes. Regardless of choice, all three will require one to walk a lot.

I’m no Eye-talian car aficionado, but I do tend to like the looks of Alfa and Lancia.

lol I actually DD’d an 89 635 as my first car, for around a year. It was in horrible shape at 150k miles but it never left me stranded! Jags on the other hand...

Background on the Iso:
The Iso Grifo is a supercar designed by the same person who did the Ferrari 250 GTO and powered by American engines.

The tempting part about Jags is that they cost so little after depreciation.
Note I said after depreciation, not after repairs.

I want to say daily the Alfa, track the Iso, but visibility concerns say track the Alfa and daily the Iso. The Lambo must go (though I will inevitably miss that V12 scream every night in my dreams).

This is the correct answer.
The Grifo Series 1 you chose wasn’t sold in 1974 though, it’s an older model.
But then again, I'll let you off because your selection is very tasteful.

Ha ha, well the color did it for me for the Grifo. Yeah I would never have a 70's GT car without a Vantage and god forbid I spent money on a 365 2+2 *shudders and barfs at the thought*

To be honest, the Ferrari did look a bit nicer in its later stages.
But even then, you could do a lot better. It's far behind its rivals too.

God damn its still awful and so far lacking from a 70's Italian GT beauty, that Honda copied them in the 90's

Honda even beat that themselves, I love the look of the Legend Coupé.
I can understand why some people like the Ferrari 400 series, and why it’s also a bit a rubbish. I have mixed feelings about it, but in the real world, the Ferrari would probably be a bit of a basket case.

Yes, that is a good looking Acura.... Honestly there are only a handful of Japanese made vehicles I’d ever want and that doesn’t quite cut it, but if I needed a cheaper Honda. I could just never do a 400 series Ferrari ever.

I’ve always loved Japanese cars myself, but I think I see what you mean.
Anyway, as far as the 400 series goes - I don’t think I could really bring myself to own one either. Certainly agree with you there.

Yeah I mean its all taste. Most of the time they just don’t do it for me.
Oh god no, that’d be like the same catastrophe as owning an AM Lagonda. They are neat, but NO, just god damn no to trying to keep those on the road, not that I’d want to be seen in either on the road. I mean eww!!!!
